Windows Vista/Office 2007 Presentation

I’m currently in Dallas, TX for the AITP Conference. I just came from a Microsoft presentation titled “Microsoft Windows Vista/Office 2007: A Future Look” by Blain Barton. Overall, it was a good presentation and I was excited to see Vista in action. The build they were running for the presentation was Beta 2, build 5308. Some of the funny/embarassing things that happened:

  • File and Settings Transfer Wizard stopped responding
  • Movie Maker didn’t want to close
  • The Start icon for the Start Menu disappeared at one point

    Windows Vista actually sucks, it is full of bugs and very unstable~-*

    windows vista is very unstable and often crashes a lot, windows XP is several thousand times better`;-
